MFO makes three promotions at a recent acquisition

GenSpring says promotions from within reward hard work, maintain continuity. Multifamily office GenSpring Family Offices has made some promotions in its office in Phoenix, Ariz. Mason Longstreth is now a relationship manager, Elizabeth Shabaker has been made director of investment operations and Christina Burroughs is director of family-office services.

"We look forward to Mason, Elizabeth and Christina assuming greater leadership roles with clients and within the firm," says Mark Feldman, president of GenSpring's Phoenix office and formerly CEO of Inlign. "They understand the wealth-management market in Phoenix and the needs of our growing client base here."

Overall commitment

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based GenSpring changed its name from Asset Management Advisors late last summer. The Phoenix office was Inlign Wealth Management until GenSpring acquired it late last year.

Longstreth will be helping to oversee client relationships and working to integrate tax planning, with which he has a fair amount of experience, with clients' broader wealth-management goals. As director of investment ops, Shabaker oversees investment implementation and reporting for GenSpring's Phoenix office. Burroughs is in charge service co-ordination and integration for clients of the Phoenix office.

GenSpring says the promotions are evidence of its "overall commitment to filling staff needs from within whenever possible" -- a policy that fits with its aim to maintain continuity for the families its serves.

Palm Beach, Fla.-based GenSpring advises more than 600 families on nearly $15 billion in assets under advisement. It's an affiliate of Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks. -FWR
